Happy New Year everyone! If you believe in the the Mayan calendar theory, this just might be the last year of our lives. If thats the case, it’s been nice knowing you. Though it may or may not be the last year of our mortal lives, we have some good things coming in 2012. We have begun recording our second full-length album (currently untitled) and hope to have it available by early spring. You can follow the recording process by video’s and pictures that we are posting on our youtube, facebook, and twitter pages. In addition to that, we’ll be playing shows, hitting the road, and creating more merchandise for you. It’s going to be the best last year of our lives! Or the worst. We’ll have to wait and see. Happy Holidays everyone! We are still at work preparing to record our new album (currently untitled), and will begin tracking it any day now. We are eager to finally begin. Hey everyone, welcome to our web page. November edition! Thanks to all those who came out to the shows last month. We had fun. November is mostly going to be used for us working on our new full length (and currently untitled) album. We’ve got about 8 new songs down, and will be working on a couple of more this month. It’s looking like it will probably be a 10 song album at this point. The world is our oyster.

Though you might not be able to catch us live this month, we already have a couple of really cool shows lined up for December (including one with Miniature Tigers in SLC). Check our “shows” section for details. We are also planning on recording some acoustic versions of some of our songs this month, and making them available for download to those on our e-mail list. LASTLY, you can now sign up for our e-mail list right here on our web page, AND we have added our two official band t-shirts in our “store section”. A perfect Thanksgving gift for your loved ones.

Hi friends. The band is still working hard on the new songs for the next album, and should be ready to start recording very soon. Other than that, we will be continuing work on new songs for our forthcoming album. September has never felt so good!

Happy August everyone! We are busy writing new songs this month for our second full length album. We are also trying to document the process with our trusty flip cam. The idea is to compile all the footage together and release some sort of a “making of the album” dvd when the new album comes out. We’ll see what happens. We also have a great show coming up at the end of this month in Salt lake City being put on by www.utahfm.org . There will be a mixed bag of 6 bands or so that were hand picked by Utah.fm. There will be something for everyone. Lastly, stay tuned for a couple possible Los Angeles dates in September.

The time is almost here for the Statuettes pacific northwest tour. If you live in Eastern Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Western Oregon, and the Seattle area, there is a chance we are coming to a venue near you. Check our “Shows” section to see all the details. We will have the new Imaginary Signs EP available for purchase, as well as t-shirts, and some limited edition MG&Statuettes pacific northwest tour posters. You don’t want to miss out on this. Or maybe you do. Either way, we’re coming weather you like it or not

We will be hitting the pacific northwest on tour this June (June 22-28th to be exact). We will be hitting Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. If you live in any of these area’s, check the “shows” section to see where we’ll be. We have also posted a new music video on the web for our song “Too Much Too Soon”. You can take a look at it in the “Watch” section of the website. Lastly, for all you Salt Lakers, we have a local show coming up on June 4th at Bar Deluxe. It’s been a while since we’ve played locally, so this is a good opportunity to catch us and purchase the new EP (If you haven’t already).

Thanks to everyone who came out to our shows on our April west coast tour. We had a lot of fun, and we hope you did too. Double thanks to those who came out and also bought some merchandise. Your hard earned money will be put to good use. Rumor has it that The Statuettes filmed a little music video with a friend in California while out on the road. It’s being edited, and should be available soon. Stay tuned. As for now, we look to play some local Utah shows, and begin booking our next tour.
